Lazer FM from Chicago (USA).

1. I left Forge Bookings and do my own bookings from now on.

As of December 10 my radio show Translucent Waves will air, besides Trancesonic FM, twice a month, every 2nd & 4th Saturday of the month at 19:00 CET / 18:00 UK / 13:00 EST for 1 hour on EDMWales FM This is great!!!

A lot of things happened since the last update in June. Some highlights:
The Floating World Events
June 25 it was the first edition of The Floating World I organized. Since than I organized already 4 editions. Great plans ahead for the 2012 editions. It is going great with the editions and get positive feedback from the owners of the venue, but also the visitors. Of course also some positive criticism, to take it to the next editions.
DJ name change
October 2011 I changed my dj name, since my very first release is coming up. From now on I will be playing and producing under my full name: Jordy Jurrius.
November 12 will be the first time I will be playing with my new name. Also my radio show is carrying
my new name as of Episode 050.
Producing
A few months back I went into the studio together with a great producer: Peter Knife, to work on my first tracks. The first one is nearly finished to be released. Soon more news about it.

After 7 months, since September 2010, not able to play any gigs due to knee problems, I’m back in business.
Since beginning of April I had a couple of gigs, joined Forge Bookings agency, official website: Forge Bookings
Started producing with great help by Peter Knife, soon more about my first release.
My official website is still under construction, but I hope soon to launch it. Also I took over the organization of The Floating World events, first Marc Simz organized it, but due to lack of time (producing/gigs) he didn’t have time for it. Check out the schedule for all the upcoming gigs.

As mentioned in the news bulletin of January 7, TFM Radio would stop.
But there is a new development going on and TFM Radio will make a re-start.
It will be taken over by French people. They’re running and testing the new website, ftp server and such. Soon TFM Radio will continue.
Also I informed them about my radio show Translucent Waves,
that I want to continue on TFM Radio.
Soon more info about it.

As of February 1 2011 Totaal FM Radio will stop streaming.
This means my radio show will only air on Trancesonic FM.
Looking for other stations, to broadcast my show besides Trancesonic FM.
And as of January 10 2011 my show on Trancesonic FM will be a 2 hour show,
including guest mixes of dj’s worldwide. It was 1 hour.
Show starts at: 16:00 CET / 15:00 UK / 10:00 EST / 07:00 Pacific

As of August 23 my show Translucent Waves will also air, besides Totaal FM, on Trancesonic FM
Show will air every second and fourth Monday of the month, it’s an 1 hour show.

Got to hear I will be a resident dj at another event, besides The Floating World events in Nijmegen (Netherlands). This will be my second residency.
As of June 2010 I will be resident dj at TranceTastic Events, that will take place every month at Club Gooiland in Hilversum (Netherlands). Check out my schedule for the next date.

Several gigs in Finland will be planned. Got to hear I will be playing at a brand new club event, together with 2 other dj’s, will announce their names soon. I invited them to play.

Together with Markus Schulz, Glenn Morrison, Kaeno, Mike Saint-Jules, Tim Grube and more.

Marc Simz, resident dj of The Matrixx in Nijmegen (Holland), announced that I will be officially resident dj of The Floating World events, he’s organizing.
The second edition on November 28, will be my first appearance as resident DJ.
September 14 2009
Citybeat Radio announced they will stop airing on the internet as of September 17 2009.
This means my shows Translucent Waves UK Edition will stop as well.
August 29 2009:
Own radioshow on Totaal FM, www.totaal.fm.
Show is called: jOr-D’s Translucent Waves
This show will be twice a month, first and fourth week.
Starting at 1pm (CET) / 7am (EDT) / 12pm (GMT).
Both will be 2 hours long. First show will be a 2 hour mix by me,
second show will be an 1 hour mix by me and an 1 hour guest mix of known and unknown dj’s.
First show will air the 4th week of September.
August 27 2009:
Marc Simz, resident dj of the Matrixx in Nijmegen (Holland), invited me to play at Danscafe Soulmate in Nijmegen. Together with Marc Simz, Pascal S, Nick van Mansum and Le Freak we will make a massive night.
Party will be from 22:00hrs till 05:00hrs (CET).
